Mohammad Reza Abdollahi Bidhendi
Mohammed Reza Abdollahi Bidhendi, born in 1988 in Tehran, Iran, earned his Master's degree in architecture from QIAU in Qazvin in 2014. Drawn to digital architecture and spatial storytelling, he pursued a second Master's degree in Architecture at TU Braunschweig in Germany, beginning in 2019.
His work focuses on telling political and cultural stories through virtual installations in still images, videos, and VR format. His virtual reality project "Far from Home. A VR Experience," developed as part of the "Architectural Design in Virtual Reality - VR Space Drawing" research project, earned recognition at the 2020 Wolfsburg Award for Urban Vision.
In recognition of his academic achievements at TU Braunschweig, Bidhendi was awarded the Braunschweiger Bürgerpreise 2021.
